“Florida International University (FIU) pedestrian bridge collapse”

This presentation qualifies for one (1) PDH

The collapse of the Florida International University (FIU) Pedestrian Bridge was a tragedy that will impact all of us in the construction, design, and engineering community.
We are going to present a case study of the FIU bridge collapse focusing on the final days of construction as well as the NTSB/OSHA investigation and legal fallout.
It will be a sobering look at the disaster, the choices that were made leading up to the event, and the impact of those choices.
